Hello Will,
My name is Tom. After watching your recommendation, I bought Panasonic Lumix G5. I used Canon DSLR before and, I must say, there is something magical about the G5. I have it for 2.5 weeks now and I love reading the manual and learning about this camera. Along with the camera, I’ve purchased a $25 lens adapter for nikon lenses because a friend of mine offered me his two 20-years old manual nikon lenses. Those lenses are top quality build in Japan and have great optics! Oh! and did I mentioned I paid $50 for both!!!
I have a question for you about legacy lenses. Which legacy lenses (from any manufacturer) would you recommend?
With lens adapters costing between $25-$300 it is a fantastic feature of the micro four thirds system to be able to use vintage lenses. This was a major deciding factor for me to buy mirrorless micro four thirds system camera. Every day I scan web sites (ebay, craigslist) for vintage lenses from various manufacturers; I want to buy best lenses before people catch on to the fact that they can buy a great $500 camera like Lumix G5 and use their old lenses that collected dust somewhere in an attic.
I love your Videos and recommendations/opinions and watch/read them every week.
Regards,
Tom Kacki
